If you would like to contribute to our project ‘volunteering 2011’ (v11), present your organisation or initiative or enrich our programme during the Citizens’ Convention in Landau in May 2011 in any other way, please contact us. For selected people, financial support will be possible. 2011 was declared the “European Year of Volunteering”. As an organisation based on voluntary involvement by its members, we decided to realise an own series of events (‘v11’) as a contribution to this European Year. Already in November 2010, we realised an OpenForum in Bruges, our OpenForum in Budapest will follow in February 2011. The project will culminate in the Citizens’ Convention in Landau in der Pfalz (Germany) on 5-8 May. This convention will be a ‘festival of volunteering’, consisting e.g. of workshops at university, a stage programme in the centre of town and information desks by organisations from Landau and Europe.
