The Czech volunteer initiative politicalprisoners.eu organized its second seminar dedicated to the commemoration of victims of Stalinism (with support of the EU program Europe for Citizens 2007 – 2013). The international workshop took place in Prague from the 1st till the 3rd of May 2009. Young Europeans got the chance to meet two former political prisoners at the Vojna memorial, the former labour camp in Pribram in central Bohemia. Citizens of Europe was represented by Sam Schatteman, who lead the workshop “Investigating the meaning of Victims of Stalinism”. A summary can be found here.
