Take part now – open to everyone aged 16 to 30 who grew up in Germany
How do young people perceive historical eras shaped by dictatorship, war and authoritarian regimes? What role does the transition to democracy play in their understanding of history – and where are the gaps in their knowledge?
Our survey, part of the Erasmus+ project “Shared Memories: Learning from the Past to Shape Europe’s Future”, sets out to explore these questions. The project brings together partners from five European countries with the aim of preserving memory, strengthening dialogue between generations and promoting democratic values and active civic engagement.
The survey is aimed at young people aged 16 to 30 who grew up in Germany. Taking part takes just 5 to 10 minutes. Your answers will help us identify knowledge gaps, better understand young people’s perspectives – and develop intergenerational workshops and educational programmes that connect past experiences with today’s challenges.
