Since 2006, Citizens of Europe has been accredited within European Voluntary Service programme of the European Union since 2006 already. We have the right to send and to receive volunteers. Currently, two volunteers work in our Berlin office: Dorothée Moutiez from France and Francesca La Vigna from Italy. Four people are abroad: Sarah Flemming is in Riga and works for the Anti-Aids campaigning organisation JPAthere. Mathias Puddig organises cultural projects at GTPKA at Gdansk university. Max Joite is in Belgium and supports an EU-information office in Braine L’Alleud. Katrina Schmitz-Roeckerath finally is in Chisinau in Moldova. Read the activity report of her group here if you like. As we want to enable people to widen their horizon and to get active according to their interests, we consider the European Voluntary Service as one core of our organisation’s activities.
