Poland has been in the news a lot recently. The Polish society seems deeply divided. What exactly is going on? Which are the perspectives of the country? What do the developments in Poland mean for democracy in Europe, what is their impact on neighbouring countries and on the European Union? These are the topics we want to explore and to discuss during a weekend we realize with the support of the Polish Schuman-Foundation and the Lazarski University Warsaw.
We invite local activists, scientists, politicians, journalists and representatives of civil society organisations in Warsaw. And we invite YOU – no matter your age, background and origin. Simply come to Warsaw for an interesting weekend and join us. The event starts on Friday, 17th of November at 19:00 in Warsaw and ends on Sunday, 19 of November at 14:00. For more details, please read the downloadable programme below. We will also provide suggestions for hostels/hotels and guidance for public transport in Warsaw.
Tell us ASAP if you want to come and if you would like to contribute something yourself. Please, write to office@citizens-of-europe.eu stating „Citizens Weekend 2017“ in the e-mail topic.Facebook eventInteractive Info Sheet
