“Without borders project” by the Center for Social Action in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Foundation (office for Ukraine and Belarus) invited journalists to the Media cinema club “Na Sinovali” in Kyiv (in Sinoval pub at Saksaganskogo 99) on 30 September 2008. Participants, including Ukrainian journalists and guests watched a selection of short documentaries from the 2007 programme of MyEurope film festival. The screening was used as an artistic introduction to the open discussion “Is Ukraine a safe country for migrants?”, which was organized together with UNHCR (http://www.unhcr.org.ua/). Media cinema club “Na Simovali” offers monthly media expert informal meetings which shall help to promote democratic and social values. It will be part of the 2008 programme of MyEurope.
