Volunteers, we need your help!

For one year Compagnie à Bulles has been working on their play Die Versammlung der Bürger – von der Agora zum Europäischen Parlament, which premieres 26th of September at the Parisier Goethe Institut.  Afterwards it will be shown at the European House in Berlin. It will thereafter go on a tour and will be shown in eight European cities (Paris, Athens, Brussels, Vilnius, Berlin, Strasbourg, London, Nantes).

Before the curtain goes down for the play, a parade will take place which will symbolize the idea of mobilizing people to go to the ballot box.  The goal of the parade is to raise awareness of the European Year of Citizens, as well as the European elections of 2014.
The slogan is: “to vote or not to vote, that is the question”.

We invite you to particapate in this parade! It will take place in front of the European House (Unter den Linden 78) on Wednesday, 09 October 2013 between 15 and 16 o’clock.

The principle is simple, playful and festive:
An intergenerational group of about 10 participants are thinking about wheter to vote or not in the European elections of 2014.
Soufian, an actor of Die Versammlung der Bürger, gives us the rhythm of the parade on his Tamburine. Then the participants makes a symbolic “ballot” fill on which they write wishes and opinions about Europe and then throw in the Tamburine.
